On December 30, 2004 Shire Biochem Inc. transferred the total amount of subscription receipts to Shire Holdings Europe Limited. Shire Biochem Inc. and Shire Holdings Europe Limited are wholly owned subsidiaries of Shire Pharmaceuticals.

On January 6, 2005 the Issuer repurchased for cash the total amount of subscription receipts held by Shire Holdings Europe Limited.
