On May ~~January 21~~10, 2009, Reef Exploration, L.P. (“RELP”), an affiliate of Reef Oil & Gas Partners, L.P., our managing general partner, ~~issued~~announced athat ~~press release~~David ~~(the~~M. ~~“Press~~Tierney, Chief ~~Release”)~~Accounting toOfficer ~~announce~~– ~~(i) the~~Public ~~retirement~~Partnerships of ~~Kellam Colquitt~~RELP, ~~Chief~~ ~~Operating~~has ~~Officer~~been appointed Treasurer of RELP,. As ~~(ii) the~~a ~~appointment~~result of ~~Daniel~~his Cappointment, Mr. ~~Sibley~~Tierney will tono longer serve in the position of ~~General~~Chief ~~Counsel~~Accounting Officer – Public Partnerships of RELP, and ~~that~~will no longer serve as the principal financial officer of Reef Global Energy IV, L.P. Mr. ~~Mark~~Tierney ~~Price~~became ~~joined~~Chief ~~RELP~~Accounting asOfficer ~~its~~– ~~Chief~~Public ~~Financial~~Partnerships ~~Officer~~of RELP in July 2008. ~~This~~ Mr. Tierney, 56, ~~information~~has been employed by RELP since January 2006 and was previously ~~disclosed~~with onits predecessor ~~the~~entity, ~~Current~~OREI, ~~Report~~Inc., onsince ~~Form 8-K~~March 2001. Mr. Tierney was ~~filed~~previously bythe Controller of the Reef Global Energy ~~IV,~~Ventures Land Reef Global Energy Ventures II partnerships.P Mr. onTierney ~~January 13~~received a Bachelor’s degree from Davidson College in 1974, ~~2009~~a ~~(the~~Masters ~~“Form 8-K”). Both~~of ~~the~~Business ~~Form 8-K~~Administration ~~and~~from ~~the~~Tulane University ~~Press~~in ~~Release~~1976, ~~which~~ and is ~~attached~~a ~~hereto~~Texas asCertified ~~Exhibit 99~~Public Accountant.1 Mr. Tierney has worked in public accounting, ~~are~~and ~~incorporated~~has ~~herein~~worked byin the oil and gas industry since ~~reference~~1979. From 1992 through 2000 he served as controller/treasurer of an independent oil and gas exploration company.

~~Section 9~~In connection –with Mr. Tierney’s transition into his role as the Treasurer of RELP, on May 10, 2009, L. Mark Price, Chief Financial ~~Statements~~Officer of RELP, was designated as the principal financial officer and ~~Exhibits~~principal accounting officer for Reef Global Energy IV, L.P.

~~Item~~Mr. Price, 946, has over twenty-two years of experience working in the oil and gas and manufacturing industries and has served as Chief Financial Officer of RELP since January 2009.01 He previously served as the Chief Financial ~~Statements~~Officer for The Terramar Group, Inc., an international oil and ~~Exhibits~~gas and manufacturing company, beginning in 2007. From 2004 to 2007, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer for Lancer Corporation, an international manufacturing company. Additionally, Mr. Price served as the Chief Financial Officer of Nunn Manufacturing, and for PCLC Asset Management after its acquisition of Nunn Manufacturing in 1998, from 1996 until 2004. Mr. Price received his BBA in accounting and finance from Texas Tech University and is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of Texas.
