On October 26, 2017, Four Oaks Fincorp, Inc. (OTCQX: FOFN) (the "Company”) issued a press release announcing the results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2017. The full text of the press release is set forth in Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.

United has filed a registration statement on Form S-4 with the SEC on August 31, 2017, which was subsequently amended on September 15, 2017, to register the shares of United’s common stock that will be issued to the Company’s shareholders in connection with the proposed merger.
