HALL KINION EXPECTS FIRST QUARTER 2004 REVENUES

OF $30 TO $32 MILLION WITH AN OPERATING LOSS

Novato, CA – April 6, 2004 – Hall, Kinion & Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAKI) today commented on operating results for first quarter of 2004.
