On April 9, 2008, Targanta Therapeutics Corporation issued a press release announcing that the United States Food and Drug Administration has accepted for standard review the Company’s New Drug Application for oritavancin for the treatment of complicated skin and skin structure infections caused by gram-positive organisms.
