(b) On September 2, 2011, W. Scott Emerick, Corporate Controller, gave notice to The Lubrizol Corporation that he will leave Lubrizol’s employment in 2011. Mr. Emerick has agreed to stay with the company until a new Corporate Controller has been appointed and for a transition period thereafter.
