Healthcare Capital Corp. Announces Adjournment of Special Meeting of Stockholders

NEW YORK, NY –– February 18, 2022 –– Healthcare Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: HCCC, HCCCW, and HCCCU) (“HCCC”) today announced that on February 18, 2022, it convened and then adjourned, without conducting any other business, its special meeting of stockholders (the “Special Meeting”). The Special Meeting has been adjourned until February 18, 2022 at 4:00p.m. Eastern Time (the “Adjournment”). The Special Meeting is being held to approve the business combination (the “Business Combination”) with Alpha Tau Medical Ltd. (“Alpha Tau”) and related proposals, as described in HCCC’s definitive proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on January 14, 2022. The proxy card included with the previously distributed proxy materials will not be updated to reflect the adjournment and may continue to be used to vote shares in connection with the Special Meeting. The record date for the Special Meeting, including any adjournment thereof, remains January 13, 2022. HCCC stockholders who have already voted and do not wish to change their vote do not need to vote again.

As of the date hereof, a sufficient number of HCCC stockholders had voted to approve the proposed Business Combination. However, all of the conditions to effect the closing of the Business Combination have not yet been satisfied. The Adjournment is intended to permit more time to satisfy the closing conditions.
