Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On January 30, 2007, Sierra Health Services, Inc. issued a press release announcing operating results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2006. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report.
