Departure of Director.

On September 17, 2025, Patricia Maryland informed Encompass Health Corporation (the “Company”) of her decision to retire for health reasons from the Company’s board of directors, effective immediately. “On behalf of the board of directors of Encompass Health, I wish Pat and her family only the best,” said Greg Carmichael, chairman of the board. “It has been a pleasure working with Pat, and the board is grateful for her many insights and contributions.”
