On November 17, 2025, SM Energy Company, a Delaware corporation (the “Company” or “SM Energy”), and Civitas Resources, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Civitas”), issued a joint press release announcing additional details in connection with their planned merger (the “Transaction”), and posted a joint investor presentation to each of their respective websites. SM Energy also announced its participation in upcoming investor conferences.
