On October 1, 2016, Richard L. Crandall was awarded restricted stock units ("RSUs") with a value of $31,350, pursuant to the Donnelley Financial Non-Employee Director Compensation Plan, for his service as Chairman of the board of directors of Donnelley Financial Solutions, Inc. ("DFS") for the remainder of 2016. Such grant represents 1,384 RSUs calculated based on the ten trading day volume weighted average price of DFS common stock following the date of grant.
