ITEM 8.01.		Other Events.

LSB Corporation (the “Company”) announced that the Office of Thrift Supervision approved on November 15, 2010 the proposed merger of River Bank with and into People’s United Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of People’s United Financial, Inc, in accordance with the Agreement and Plan of Merger dated July 15, 2010 by and among People’s United Financial, Inc., People’s United Bank, Bridgeport Merger Corporation, the Company and River Bank . The shareholders of the Company approved the Merger Agreement on October 27, 2010. The Company expects the acquisition of the Company by People’s United Financial, Inc. and the related merger of River Bank into People’s United Bank (which remain subject to the satisfaction or waiver of other customary closing conditions) to be completed on or after November 30, 2010.
