On January 10, 2006, IVAX Corporation (“IVAX”) issued a joint press release with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (“Teva”) announcing the status of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s review of the consent order signed by IVAX and Teva in connection with the pending acquisition of IVAX. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
