Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On September 11, 2019, Buckeye Partners, L.P. (the “Partnership”) issued a press release announcing that it has partially resumed operations at its Buckeye Bahamas Hub facility following Hurricane Dorian. The press release is being furnished with this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is hereby incorporated herein by reference.

With respect to the proposed acquisition of the Partnership by entities affiliated with IFM Global Infrastructure Fund announced on May 10, 2019 (the “proposed merger”), progress is being made on the completion of the remaining customary closing conditions related to the proposed merger, and the Partnership currently continues to anticipate that the proposed merger will close during the fourth quarter of 2019. For more information regarding the proposed merger, please see the Partnership’s Current Reports on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on May 10, 2019 and July 31, 2019 and Schedule 14A filed with the SEC on June 25, 2019, as supplemented by the Partnership’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the SEC on July 22, 2019.
