Effective May 20, 2025, Jo Ellen Hornish resigned from the Board of Directors of Farmers & Merchants Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) and the Company’s wholly-owned bank subsidiary, The Farmers & Merchants State Bank (the “Bank”), following its May 20, 2025, board meeting. Mrs. Hornish has been a valued member of the Company’s Board since 2013 and has served on the Company's Audit Committee and Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.

On May 20, 2025, the Company issued a press release announcing the resignation of Jo Ellen Hornish from the Board of Directors of the Company and Farmers & Merchants State Bank. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99 and incorporated by reference herein.
