Litigation Update

Toronto, Canada - June 12, 2006 - EnerNorth Industries Inc. (AMEX: ENY, Frankfurt Stock Exchange: EPW1) (www.enernorth.com) (“EnerNorth” or the “Company”) announces

that the Court of Appeal for the Province of Ontario has dismissed the Company’s appeal of the decision of the Superior Court for the Province of Ontario for the

enforcement of the Singapore judgment of approximately $7.6 million.

EnerNorth plans to seek leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.
