Operating Costs
Operating costs consist primarily of personnel costs (which includes wages, salaries, social security fees and pension costs of bus drivers, mechanics and other employees), fuel, tires and other consumables costs, and other external costs, which include depot costs and head office administrative costs. Operating costs also consist of operating lease charges. Operating costs decreased by SEK 18 million, or 1%, from SEK 1,204 million for the three months ended May 31, 2004 to SEK 1,186 million for the three months ended May 31, 2005. This decrease is due to a number of factors, which are explained below.
