On January 17, 2006, GoRemote Internet Communications, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has received early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, in connection with its proposed merger with iPass Inc. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
