Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On June 12, 2006, Kimball Hill, Inc. announced that effective October 1, 2006, Isaac Heimbinder, Vice Chairman, President and Chief Operating Officer, will retire as President and Chief Operating Officer and will continue as a non-executive Vice Chairman. By that time, Mr. Heimbinder’s executive management responsibilities will have been reassigned to David K. Hill, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and C. Kenneth Love, Vice Chairman.
