CORPORATE EXPRESS NV STRATEGIC REVIEW IN PROGRESS

Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 26 June 2007 - Corporate Express announced today that the Executive Board expects to complete a comprehensive strategic review within the next three months.

The purpose of this review, which was commenced in March 2007, is to provide insight in how the company’s full potential can be achieved in order to find the best way forward to build shareholder value. It will address market dynamics such as competition and opportunities for growth. This review of the Group’s strategy, which is carried out every four years, is being undertaken with the assistance of external advisors.

Following completion of the review and the subsequent evaluation of its findings by the Company’s Boards, conclusions and proposed strategic actions will be published.
