Other Events.

On September 15, 2017, the Board of Directors of Astoria Financial Corporation declared a quarterly cash dividend of $16.25 per share ($0.40625 per each depositary share) on its 6.5% Series C Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred stock. This quarterly cash dividend will be distributed on October 16, 2017 to shareholders of record as of September 29, 2017.
