Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On April 23, 2025, the Board of Directors of Brookline Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its earnings for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. Additionally, the Company announced the approval by its Board of Directors of a regular quarterly dividend of $0.135 per share payable on May 23, 2025 to stockholders of record on May 9, 2025. A copy of that press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is hereby incorporated by reference herein.
