Up to 52,224 of these restricted stock units were eligible to vest upon achievement of certain performance metrics. On February 25, 2013, the compensation committee certified the performance metrics associated with the award. Based on actual performance, only 25,789 of the 52,224 performance-based restricted stock units are eligible to vest. The remaining 26,435 restricted stock units were cancelled.
