                Cambridge Antibody Technology Group plc ("CAT")

CAT (LSE: CAT; NASDAQ: CATG) announces that with effect from 30 June 2006, Peter
Chambre, John Aston, Diane Mellett, Paul Nicholson, Ake Stavling, Christopher
Marshall, Peter Ringrose, John Stocker and John Brown have resigned as directors
of the Company. With effect from 30 June 2006, the Company also announces that J
W Hoskins has resigned as Company Secretary and that G H R Musker has been
