                               HOLDING IN COMPANY


On 9 March 2007, the Company received notification by Aviva plc of a disclosure
of a notifiable interest, following the implementation of the Transparency
Directive, of 43,183,326 ordinary shares of 10p each representing 5.73% of the
issued share capital in the Company.


The notifiable interest comprises 41,335,090 ordinary shares, representing 5.48%
being a direct holding and 1,848,236 ordinary shares, representing 0.25%, being
held indirectly.
