SEOUL, South Korea, February 17, 2009 — Pixelplus Co., Ltd. (Other OTC: PXPLY. PK), a fabless semiconductor company in Korea that designs, develops, and markets CMOS image sensors for various consumer electronics applications, today announced that Mr. Hae-Su Hwang has been appointed as the interim Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Prior to his appointment as the interim CFO, Mr. Hwang served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company since March 8, 2007.

Pixelplus is a South Korea-based developer of high-performance, high-resolution, and cost-effective CMOS image sensors for use primarily in mobile camera phones.
