Other Events

On September 14, 2011, The Lubrizol Corporation, together with Berkshire Hathaway Inc., announced that it expects to close its previously announced merger transaction with Berkshire on September 16, 2011, following receipt today of regulatory clearance from the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM). A copy of the joint press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein.
