Item 7.01

Regulation FD Disclosure.

As previously disclosed, on November 9, 2014, KiOR, Inc. (“KiOR”) filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of Title 11 of the United States Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Bankruptcy Court”) Case No. 14-12514 (the “Chapter 11 Case”).

On January 22, 2015, KiOR filed with the Bankruptcy Court a Monthly Operating Report for December 2014. A copy of the referenced Monthly Operating Report is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.

Pursuant to General Instruction B.2 of Form 8-K and Securities and Exchange Commission Release No. 33-8176, the information contained in this Item 7.01 (including the Monthly Operating Report furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto) shall not be deemed “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, (the “Exchange Act”), is not subject to the liabilities of that section, and shall not be deemed incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, except as shall be expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.

Cautionary Statement Regarding the Monthly Operating Report
