The Reporting Person is a general partner of each of HealthCare Partners II, L.P., HealthCare Partners III, L.P. and HealthCare Partners IV, L.P., the general partners of each of HCV II, HCV III and HCV IV, respectively, and as such may have been deemed to indirectly beneficially own those securities owned by HCV II, HCV III and HCV IV.
