Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On October 31, 2025, in connection with his appointment as chairman of the board of directors of the managing member of SunocoCorp LLC (NYSE: SUNC) (“SunocoCorp”), Richard D. Brannon informed Energy Transfer LP (the “Partnership”) of his intention to resign from the board of directors of LE GP, LLC (the “Company”), the general partner of the Partnership, effective immediately. Mr. Brannon will also resign from his position on the audit committee of the board of directors of the Company, effective immediately. He will be replaced on the audit committee by Matthew S. Ramsey.

The Partnership owns 100% of the equity interest in the managing member of SunocoCorp.

Mr. Brannon’s decision to resign from the board of directors of the Company was not due to any disagreement with the Company or the Partnership relating to operations, practices or policies.
