Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On September 28, 2007, Interstate Bakeries Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and hereby incorporated by reference, announcing that the Company has reached agreement on contract modifications with the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union.

On October 1, 2007, the Company issued a press release, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and hereby incorporated by reference, announcing that the Company has not been able to reach agreement on contract modifications with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
