Item 5.02 Departure of Certain Officers

Effective Wednesday, October 16, 2013, Frank Moreno resigned as the Controller of Southern Trust Securities Holding Corp. (the “Company”) and its wholly owned subsidiary Southern Trust Securities, Inc. (collectively the "Companies") to pursue other business. The company is in the process of replacing Mr. Moreno.
