Item 8.01 - Other Events.

AirXpanders has received announced that it had received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance to market a smooth shell version of the AeroForm Tissue Expander in the United States. On June 15, 2019 (Australia time), the Company issued a press release regarding the receipt of the approval. The full text of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
