Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 6, 2025, Rekor Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company has been selected by a Sun Belt state transportation agency to deploy 150 Rekor Discover® systems under a one-year Data-as-a-Service contract valued at $1.2 million. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
