First Trust/abrdn Global Opportunity Income Fund (“FAM”) is filing herewith a press release issued on ~~May~~June 3118, 2024, as Exhibit 99.1. The press release was issued by First Trust Advisors L.P. (“FTA”) to announce the ~~results of the joint~~ special meeting of shareholders of ~~each of~~ First Trust/abrdn ~~High~~Global Opportunity Income ~~Long/Short~~ Fund (NYSE: ~~FSD~~FAM) (the “~~FSD~~Fund”) held on June 18, 2024, has been adjourned in order to permit additional solicitation of shareholders and ~~First~~to allow shareholders additional time to vote on the reorganization of ~~Trust/abrdn~~the ~~Global~~Fund ~~Opportunity~~with and into abrdn Income ~~Fund~~Credit ~~(NYSE:~~Strategies ~~FAM)~~Fund (“~~FAM~~ACP”). ~~and~~The ~~collectively~~special ~~with~~meeting ~~FSD,~~of shareholders of the ~~“Funds”)~~Fund ~~held~~will reconvene on ~~May~~ 30Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 12:30 Central time in the offices of FTA at 120 East Liberty Drive, Suite 400, Wheaton, Illinois.
