Item 5.02(b). Departure of Directors or Certain Officers.

On October 14, 2015, Harry Michael White, age 64, Class II Director since 2006 of Congaree Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) and Congaree State Bank (the “Bank”), notified the Company’s board of directors of his intention to resign from his position as a member of the Company’s and the Bank’s Board of Directors, effective October 14, 2015. Mr. White’s decision to resign from the Board of Directors was for personal reasons and did not arise or result from any disagreement with the Company on any matters relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
