Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

Termination of Named Executive Officer

On February 25, 2020, the Board of Directors of Valeritas Holdings, Inc., (the “Company”) eliminated the position of Chief Business Officer, effective March 6, 2020. As a result, the Company’s Chief Business Officer, Joseph Saldanha, was terminated from his employment with the Company, effective March 6, 2020. Mr. Saldanha was not terminated because of any disagreements between the Company and Mr. Saldanha on any matter regarding its operations, policies or practices.
