Item. 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On April 21, 2025, Southern States Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025 (the “Earnings Release”). A copy of the Earnings Release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K (this “Report”).

The information set forth under Item 7.01 is also furnished pursuant to this Item 2.02.

Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

The Company has prepared a presentation of its results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2025 (the “Presentation”) to be used from time to time during meetings with members of the investment community. A copy of the Presentation is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Report. The Presentation will also be made available on the Company’s investor relations website at ir.southernstatesbank.net under the Presentations section.
