Item 8.01 – Other Events

On October 16, 2025, the Board of Directors of Franklin Financial Services Corporation declared a $.33 per share regular cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2025. This compares to a $.33 per share regular cash dividend for the third quarter of 2025 and $.32 per share regular cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2024, which represents an increase of 3.1% over prior year. The regular quarterly cash dividend will be paid November 26, 2025 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 7, 2025.
