[F2]Pursuant to an Option and Warrant Surrender Agreement, Release and Waiver between Far East Energy Corporation ("Issuer") and the Reporting Person dated June 20, 2005, the Reporting Person's option to purchase 300,000 shares of the Issuer's common stock and warrant to purchase 172,500 shares of the Issuer's common stock were cancelled.
[F3]A non-qualified option to purchase 1,000,000 shares of Issuer's common stock was granted to the Reporting Person on January 29, 2002. The option provided for vesting in five equal annual installments commencing on January 29, 2002 as long as the Reporting Person was employed by the Issuer. Four of the five installments vested prior to the termination of the Reporting Person's employment.
