Item 8.01 Other Events.

Effective immediately, David Hammer and Kyle Christine are primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of PIMCO New York Municipal Income Fund II.

Mr. Hammer is a Managing Director and municipal bond portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office. He rejoined PIMCO in 2015 from Morgan Stanley, where he was managing director and head of municipal trading, risk management and research. Previously at PIMCO, he was a senior vice president and municipal bond portfolio manager, and prior to joining PIMCO in 2012, he was an executive director and head of the high yield and distressed municipal bond trading group at Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Christine is a Senior Vice President and municipal bond portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office. Mr. Christine has previously served as a rotating member of PIMCO’s Americas portfolio committee. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2017, he was an institutional high yield and taxable municipal bond trader at Morgan Stanley. He has 10 years of investment and financial services experience and holds an undergraduate degree from Union College (NY).
