Graphex Group Limited (the “Company” or “we”) is an issuer with its ordinary shares listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“HKSE”) and American Depository Shares (“ADSs”) that are traded on the OTC Expert Market. Under the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the HKSE (“Listing Rules”), we published the announcement that is attached to this Report (the “Announcement”), that provided a summary of an equipment purchase agreement and a business update made, on a voluntary basis, to provide shareholders of the Company (the “Shareholders”) and potential investors with information regarding participation and sponsor of two research projects leaded by Nano and Advanced Materials Institution Limited (“NAMI”), a research institution under the supervision of Innovation and Technology Commission of the Hong Kong Government, regarding (i) solution-based carbon coating process for natural graphite anode material; and (ii) microporous carbon sphere for fast charging nano silicon-based composite anode.
