Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On December 4, 2025, Avantor, Inc. (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K announcing the election of Sanjeev Mehra as a director of the Company effective December 4, 2025. The prior report did not include the committees of the Board of Directors that Mr. Mehra was named to because the Board had not determined on which committees of the Board Mr. Mehra would serve. This Form 8-K/A is being filed for the purpose of providing this information.

Effective February 19, 2026, Mr. Mehra was appointed to serve on each of the Compensation & Human Resources Committee and the Audit & Finance Committee.
