Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On January 30, 2026, Alpha Metallurgical Resources, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing certain preliminary, unaudited financial results for its fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2025. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
