Explanatory Note:

This Form 10-D/A amends the registrant's Asset Backed Issuer Distribution Report on Form 10-D filed by the Registrant on January 21, 2026 (SEC Accession No. 0001888524-26-000406) (the “Original 10-D”). The purpose of this amendment is to revise information in the Monthly Distribution Report filed as Exhibit 99.1 to the Original 10-D relating to amounts payable to the Certificateholders. The payment revision was made to pull back a curtailment payment in the amount of $1,000,000 on the 525 Park Avenue Mortgage Loan (Loan Number 23 on Annex A-1 of the prospectus supplement of the registrant relating to the issuing entity filed on May 15, 2015 pursuant to Rule 424(b)(5)) which was passed through to the Class E Certificateholders in error. This resulted in an overpayment of principal to the Class E Certificateholders in an amount equal to $1,000,000. The Certificate Administrator made a claim for the overpayment and such amount is expected to be received on or prior to the next distribution date.

On January 12, 2026 a distribution was made to holders of the certificates issued by COMM 2015-CCRE23 Mortgage Trust.

No assets securitized by Deutsche Mortgage & Asset Receiving Corporation (the "Depositor") and held by COMM 2015-CCRE23 Mortgage Trust were the subject of a demand to repurchase for breach of the representations and warranties contained in the underlying transaction documents during the distribution period from December 13, 2025 to January 12, 2026.

The Depositor filed its most recent Form ABS-15G in accordance with Rule 15Ga-1 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (a "Rule 15Ga-1 Form ABS-15G") on February 13, 2025. The CIK number for the Depositor is 0001013454.
