Portfolio Update In our view, the portfolio remained well-positioned amid a prolonged period of elevated credit stress. GCRED invested approximately $1.8 billion in gross capital with net fund growth of roughly $1.4 billion this quarter. GCRED’s ability to lend across the borrower size spectrum, while maintaining a core middle market focus, provided what we believe to be a distinct advantage in sourcing, in our view, resilient businesses. Our investment portfolio continued to perform well. As of December 31, 2025, approximately 98% of investments remain in rating categories 4 and 5—our strongest internal performance risk ratings—indicating borrowers are performing at or above expectations. Loan Market Insights Four key headwinds defined the credit environment in 2025. The direct lending market was defined by four key headwinds in 2025: declining base rates, tight credit spreads, muted M&A activity and elevated credit stress.14 The combined and cumulative effect of these individual headwinds pulled down direct lending returns and compressed lenders’ margins for error.
